In February 2011, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriter, Arjun Khara, appeared in a panel interview on 938Live, together with faculty speakers from Kaplan University, to discuss the power of personal branding. Arjun’s segment on the intersection between personal brands and communication captured the attention of the moderator, Joel Chua, who invited Arjun for a one-on-one interview at Mediacorp Singapore.

In March 2011, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriter, Arjun Khara, was invited to Mediacorp 938Live to speak about the influence of copywriting and communication on personal brands. Arjun spoke with Joel Chua on a one-hour segment about how personal brands are a product of communication that write themselves, if we do not take charge. The primary point of the interview was to take charge of what you communicate (in written and non-written communication forms) because we are always something about ourselves, even when we do not intend to.

 
 

Book Launch – A Brand In My Pocket

In March 2012, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriters, Deepa Vijayan and Arjun Khara, launched their first co-authored book, A Brand In My Pocket. The event was held at Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine Singapore. Arjun spoke about the effects of controlled communication on personal branding, explaining specific chapters from the book in greater detail about how to build the most valuable personal asset a person will ever own. The book’s first hundred copies were given to all the attendees of the event. The book is currently on sale at Amazon.com in Kindle version.

 
 

Her World Magazine – Speednetworking for Copywriters in Singapore

In June 2012, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriter and agency head, Deepa Vijayan, was featured in Her World magazine. Her insights on speednetworking as a tool for brand-building was published in Her World. A few months before, Deepa had started TickTalk Speednetworking, an initiative of Quantico, to bring copywriters and written communication specialists in Singapore together in a consortium of talent. What resulted was a series of regular business networking events attended by creatives from across the advertising, public relations, and marketing industries. Deepa spoke about her motivation to start TickTalk Speednetworking and what it is like to be a copywriter in Singapore.

Arjun, who is a specialist retail copywriter for the industry in Singapore, shared his views on how copywriting can influence the retail space simply by leveraging words that are already in people’s minds.

In January 2013, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriter and agency head, Deepa Vijayan, was interviewed in one-on-one discussion by Angel Lim on 938Live. The topic was copywriting and business communication. In a candid interview, Deepa shared the strategies of Quantico’s top copywriters on increasing business efficiency through copywriting strategies. Deepa spoke about how customer representatives on the phone, by simply shifting a few words around, can boost customer retention by as much as 45% per quarter. Deepa has since shared these strategies with existing and past clients through special copywriter kits, and with the public on her personal blog.

In February 2013, Quantico Singapore’s senior copywriter and agency head, Deepa Vijayan had her second consecutive article published in the Recruit Section of The Straits Times newspaper. The article, published together with the SGEM, discussed the evolving nature of business English in Singapore and how organizations here can leverage local communication cultures to their advantage. The article also discussed how people from all industries can improve business performance by making small, regular improvements to their language usage. This principle is known as kaizen, a fundamental value that all Quantico copywriters share.
